Five or six weeks old. Left by its mother whose name is unknown with Mrs. Weiser
residing 206 1/2 Dumaine Street. Mrs. McGinnis desirous of adopting a child and
knowing Mrs. Weiser received from her a letter that such an infant was in her
possession. But Mrs. McG wishing a girl did not take it, but wishing to see it
properly cared for has made this application to have it sent to an asylum.
