Yes, the mountains were a clue and obviously eliminated the Rhode Island restaurant
that showed up on the initial search. A revised search with "finn’s wood fired" [wood
fired from the top window on the right] came up with the Finn's Pizza located on the
Cannery Row Boardwalk on the Homer Spit Road, Homer Alaska 99603...complete
with a photo of the same building. Since all of the restaurant reviews were very
favorable, I was sure that there had to be an interview with the owners somewhere.
Sure enough. HomerNews.com interviewed the owners Sasha Raupp & Bjorn Larsen
in 2004. In the article they said that the restaurant is named after their son.

in EVERY western state and province, I finally remembered, um, Alaska. (Did I
mention I'm a doctoral candidate? I'm a doctoral candidate--shhhh.) And yes, please

Alaska, found link to Pizzatherapy.com, led to VarmitBites blog that had the answers. I
didn't use the hint. This was fun. The fish skeleton threw me off for a while as I
started looking for Finn's seafood (first hit there Block Island, Rhode Island). But the

Since I used Google Street View to verify the location, it was easy to turn around and read the number off the sign for Bald Mountain Air Service/Brown Bear Photo Safari as 235-7969. Finding the area code to be 907 gives the whole number 907-235-7969. I also checked several other buisiness along the Spit and they all had 235 prefixes (used VirtualTourist.com). Just for kicks I tried Googling the partial phone number, but that didn't work out. If I added numbers starting at 1 for the first digit, on the 235-7969, the business shows up on the first page.
